I am a graduate of Cross County High School in Cherry Valley, Arkansas. I had attended that school from 1st grade through 12th grade. After graduation I attended University of Central Arkansas in Conway where I graduated with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education.
I recieved a BSE in Early Childhood Education.
I began teaching kindergarten at Watson Primary School for 32 years.
I taught one year before coming to Hunsville. I taught at Strong Elementary in Marianna, Arkansas.
I have been married to Keith Whitehead since August 7, 1987. We have two children, Kendyl and Saxon, who are both graduates of Huntsville High School. Both are also graduates of University of Central Arkansas. Kendyl is married to RJ Tinsley and they live in Mountain Home. Saxon is single living in Conway.
I love to travel. I also like to read and spend time with family.
