I graduated from Huntsville High School in 2002. I then attended college at Arkansas Tech University. After my Freshman year at Tech I transfered to the University of Arkansas, where I graduated in 2006.
I started teaching for the Huntsville School District in 2013. I taught 1st grade at Watson Primary for 5 years. I am currently the Instructional Facilitator for Literacy and Math for K-2.
I am excited to begin my 12th year in education! I started my teaching career in 2008. I began teaching for the Fayetteville School District where I taught Pre-K for 5 years at Happy Hollow Elementary.
My husband, Eric, and I have been married for 13 years. We have 2 children, Weston and Jacelyn. Weston is 9 years old and Jacelyn is 4. We also have a 5 year old Boxer, Rowdy.
I absolutely LOVE my job! I feel so fortunate to work in education. I am very passionate about helping students reach their full potential. When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family. We enjoy sports of any kind, riding four-wheelers, hiking, riding bikes, and going to the movies. We are big Razorback fans! My children are the perfect ages for big adventures, so they keep me busy! I enjoy going to craft fairs with my sister and I love to decorate and work on my flower gardens.
